A PHO is an acronym for 'Public Health Organisation'
Primary health organisations (PHOs) are funded by district health boards to support the provision of essential primary health care services through general practices to those people who are enrolled with that PHO.
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you just choose the service provider you would like to enrol with, request an enrolment form, complete this form and return it to the service provider.
If you are eligible, all you have to do is complete an enrol form with that particular service provider and you will be able to access that service.
No, anyone of any ethnic background can enrol in our service it is open to everyone who meets the eligibility criteria.
