Safely exploring your culture by releasing your story onto paper.

Explore ethnicity, values, world view, disposition within self
(qualities of mind and character) and how this can inform your practice.

You have value. Whakamana who you are.

Transformative practice with whānau begins with understanding self.

You Will:

  • Participate in an indigenous method of self reflection
  • Engage in a journey of self-discovery
  • Use Māori art symbols to tell a story

NOTE: You will be working with paint, please dress accordingly,
you do not need to be good at art to produce an effective piece of work.

Morning Tea Provided. Please bring a shared lunch.
